FARMERS GETTING RESTIVE.
"WE MUST GET OUR STUFF AWAY."
The farmers of the Wellington province are already uneasy at the hold-up of dairy and other produce. An official representative of the farmers, at present in- Wellington in connexion with the strike, informed a "Post" reporter tti-day:—"Wo must get our stuff away. We want the money for it. If the watersidera will not put our stuff on board, we from the country will do so, and protect ourselves, too. if necessary. The situation is fast becoming intolerable. Wo are very busy in the country just now, but can spare enough men to look after our own interests, and to protect themselves, if wo know that the Government is bohind ua. The country Cannot be hold .up by the town in this way." It is stated that it is expected that by about Monday next plans will have been completed for bringing in a sufficient number of men. from tho country to ensure the shipments of produce being got away,,
