(By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright) (Received October 29th, 8.30 p.m ) SYDNEY, October _y. The half-yearly meeting 0 f tho Colonial Sugar Refining Company was held to-day. The not profits for six months in Australia wore £128.440, and in Fiji and New Zealand £127,000, to which had to be added an undivided balance of £249,703. After transferring £2.50,000 to the capital account, a BUm 0 f £255,144 was left available for distribution, which was appropriated as under—a dividend of 5 per cent, for the half-year, a bonus of 5s per share, whilst £52,019 was added to the profit and loss account. The report, which was adopted, stated that tho production of sugar this season would considerably exceed that of the previous year. Tho Cane crop waa heavy, and tho sweotness above tno average.
