OBITUARY.

DR. McADAM

(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) OAMARU, October 29. Ih\ McAdam, for many years a councillor, and twice Mayor of Oamaru, died rather suddenly to-day. He had been in ill-health for some time. He was a highly respected resident.

The death occurred somewhat unexpectedly yesterday erf Mrs W. J. Hunter, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. C. Maddison, and wife of Mr W. J. Hunter, of the legal firm of Messrs Kippenherger, Franks, and Hunter.
