ROW TO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL COMPLEXION.
One cf cur lady readers who found that her skin was becoming harsh and dry from the use of powders, rougo an'l creams, sends us the formula below. Slio states that tho simple, harmless, and inexpensive lotion made therefrom softened her skin, and so greatly enhanced tho beauty, of her complexion that .she has entirely done away with all other preparations which sho has been accustomed to use. This lotion can easily be prepared at homo or by any good pharmacicn. It calls for two ounces of : Raso Water, one draohm Tiiicture of Benzoin, and two ounces Flowers of Oxzoin. Mix togethei and apply niglit and morning with tho hands, or iiso n soft cloth or sponpjo. Always shako well before using. Our obliging correspondent asks that her name bo withheld for personal reasons, but nevertheless gives us permission to publish hor letter for tho benefit ot other readers. She adds that this formula was given her by a woman 6") yenrs old, whose youthful complexion and almost total absence of wrinkles wero a source of wonder and admiration of all who knew her. CIO
