NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
A public meeting will be held in the Hakwell Schoolroom to-morrow night at 7.30, to receive the report from the committee appointed to define the rating area in connection with the Halswell tramway extension. Tlie annual trials of the Little River Collie Dog Club will be held at Little River on Monday and Tuesday, tha 19th and 20th inst.
