PORT DARWIN STRIKE.
GOVERNMENT CLEAR OF IT
(By Cable. —Prese Association. —Copyright.) (Received May 1-ith, 10 p.m.) PORT DARWIN, May 14. A few men returned to work rather than risk their positions in the railway service. Tho carpenters returned, but objected to work with men who broke away from the local union. They wero then peremptorily dismissed. The Administrator considers that there is now no strike so far as tho Government is concerned, as all the vacancies have been filled.
