GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKETS.

Tuesday Evening* The grain market is without cliango, both wi.eat and oats being firm, but offerings aro exceedingly limited. The potato market is decidedly weaker in sympathy with the* northern markets, merchants finding it impossible to do business on the basis of lato quotations, as potatoes from the south are being offered at lower rates. Buyers are therefore offering only £3 10s to £3 12s 6d at country stations. Onions are firmer and are now quoted at £5 15s to £6. There being a limitoel demand in England at present for Blue Prussian peas prices are easier, and 4s is now only offered, but Partridge are without change, being worth 3s to 3s 3d. The undermentioned aro the prices paid to farmers, at country stations, frexs of commission, except where otherwise stated:— Wheat—Tuscan 3s s}d to 3s 6el. Hunters 3s 7d to 3s Bd. Pearl 3s Sd to 3s 9d. Barley—Prime malting 3s Cd to 4s, Capo barley 2s 3d. Red Com—2s 3d. Oats —Gartons A grade 2s Id to 2s 2d, B grade 2s, Duns Is lld to 2s, Danish Is lOd to 2s, Algerians Is 9d to 2s. Ryegrass—ls 6d to *2s 3d. Cocksfoot—3d to 'd\d. f.e.b., the Bays. Whito Clover—To 10d. Cowgrass— .d. Flour—£9 per ton: 1001b bags £9 ss, 501b bags £9 10s, 251b bags £9 15s.
Bran—£4 los local, £1 10s ; f.0.b., per ton. Pollard—£6 per ton. Oatmeal—£l4 10s per ton. Oatsheaf Chaff— £3 5s to £3 10s. for gocd samplePotatoes—£3 10s to £3 12s 6d. Onions —£5 15s to £0. Peas—Partridge 3s to 3s 3d. Prussian Blues 4s. Beans—3s to 3s 3d. Linseed—£lo 5s to £11.
