Mr Lindsay Mitchell, son of Rev. A. Mitchell, has been appointed organist of the Kaiapoi Methodist Church. Mr W. 1). Stewart, local manager for Dalgety and Company. Ltd.. who is leaving next Tuesday for England by tlio lonic on a holiday trip, was on Monday presented by tho staff with a fitted dressing ease and my with best wishes for a pleasant voyage and a safe return. Lindsay camo before the Diuiedin Presbytery yesterday (says a Press Association message), and it was resolved to place tho call in his hands. Mr Lindsay announced that he would accept it. His Honour Mr Justice Sim arrived from Wellington by tho Maori yesterday.
