RICCARTON v TIMARU

(SPECIAL TO "ffll! PBESS.") TIMARU, March 22. Riccarton, playing Timaru on Good Friday and to-day secured a ten-wicket victory. Scores: —Riccarton 234 (Boag 65, CaygiU 36, Beale 30, Rix 22, Smith 18, Dwyer 16, Sinclair 12, and Luttrell 12). Timara replied with 41 runs in their first innings, Malcolmson being top scorer with 9, not out. Rix obtained eight wickets for 14, and Boulton two for 14. In tho follow-on Timaru compiled 221 (Lynch 78, Cavo 34, Donoghuo 32,-Hudson 22, Malcolmson 14, and Heron 10). Boulton took four wickets for 56, and Rix four for 57. The 29 runs required by Riccarton were made without loss. King, not out, 19.
