Following are the results of the day's play in the Championship events: — Men's Championship Singles—First round: Manson beat Bauchop by default. Second round: ,R. S. Brown beat Audrece, 6-2, 6-8, 6-3; Cramond beat G. I. Black, 6-1, 7-s;' Warne Pearso beat Manson, 6-0, 6-2; McDbugall beat T. Walker, 6-0, 4-1. (Walker rct'.rc_)'.
Ladles' Championship Singles—First round: Miss Mcenon boat Mrs M. L. Jones, 9-7; Miss G. Bauchop beat Miss K. Black, 9-3. Men's Championship Doubles—First round: G. Walker and R. V. Bundle beat Braithwaito and Hill, 6-4, 6-3; J. S. Sinclair and Young boat J. H. Walker and Patchett, 6-3, 6-4; J. S. Nicolson and H. S. Hamilton beat W. Pearso and L. W. Taylor, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3. Second round: Manson and Anderson beat Fisher and Harraway by default, McDoug-11 and Black beat W. A. Scott and Bauchop by default, G. and A. Nicolson beat A: Taylor and McMillan. 6-2, 6-1, McKerrow and Osbourne beat P_terson and Laurenson. 6-2 2-6, 6-1.
