~ THE TER3IITORIALS,
(By Cable.—Press Association.—CopyrijM.) • > LONDON, March 19. Colonel Seely, in the House of Commons, said the War Offico proposed to establish seven squadrons of eighteen aeroplanes each. Britain would not require Zeppelin airships, because the Army would bo an expeditionary one. Britain possessed the best aeroplanes in the world. Ono biplane this week averaged over ninety-one miles tin hour.
Colonel Seely regretted that tho Territorials were below theiar full strength. Hβ did not fear an overwhelming invasion, therefor© it
would not bo necessary to ask the country to fill the 16 per cent, deficiency; The Imperial Defence Committee would shortly consider the whole question. Ho announced that Mr Balfour had accepted Mr/Asquitb's invitation to join tho committeo.
