NEW ZEALAND'S SYMPATHY ACKNOWLEDGED.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, March 21. The following telegrams have been received by the Governor in reference to tho assassination of King George of Greece: — ' - I am deeply touched by and much appreciate the message of sympathy which you have sent mc on behalf of the Government and peopo of New Zealand. Please express my most sincere thanks to them. Signed, George It. and I."
"My grateful thanks to you, y<>ur Government, and the pooplo of New Zealand for kind sympathy. Signed, Alexandra."
Further, his Majesty the King commands tho observance of Court mourning for 23 day for his late Majesty Ivng Georcre of Greeco, but it is his Majrsty's wish thnt functions arranged in connection with the visit of H.JLS, New Zealand should proceed notwithstanding.
