NEW TYPES PROJECTED. (By Cable.—Press Association.— Copyright) LONDON, February 23. The "Observer" states that five ships are included in tho forthcoming programme. They are neither battleships T nor battle-cruisers, but a hybrid type of 28,000 tons displacement, with 13. inch armour, and a speed of 25 knots, and armed with eight loin or 16jin guns. The new armoured cruisers will bo 300 tons heavier than their predecessors, whilo submersibles will replace destroyers. The new type will have a surface speed approaching that of tho river type destroyers.
