RANGIORA.
The harvesting accounted for a rather small attendance at the Rangiora market yesterday. The entry comprised 3000 sheep, of which 200 wore fat, 80 cattle, and 70. pigs. Prices were:—Fat lambs 15s to 10Gd; orime fat wethers, 21s to 235; lighter, 17s 6d to 20s; fat ewes, 153 to 17s 3d; lighter, 13s to 14s; good rane lambs, lis; medium rape lambs, lis Gd to 12s 6d; store lambs, 6s Id to 10s; six and eight-tooth breeding ewes, 10s 6d to lis; two-tooth wethers, 12s Od to 13s 3d. Cattle: Fat heifers, £6 to £8; store heifers, £5 to £6 10s; yearlings, £1 15s to £2 os; and springers, £0 10s to I £11. Pigs: Baconers, 40s to 50s; porkers, 35s to 475; stores, 27s to 30s; and fmall sorts, 12s to 20s.
In the.produce yards prices were: — Heavy crossbred sheepskins 6s 6d, medium ss. pelts 4s Id, lambskins 33 9d, calfskins 3s 6d, fleece wool 6,d per lb, fat I'd, poultry, roosters, 7s 3d a couoie, hens 2s (3d, chickens Is od, ducks 6s 6d, geese 5s 2d, chickwheat 3s 9d a bushel, oits 3s 4d. Cape barioy 23 6d, grass seed 2s 3d, wheatmcal 9s a sack, pigmcal 9s, bran 5s Gd, sharps 83 9d. potatoes id per lb, oatsheaf chaff 3s a bag. straw chaff Is 6d, onions Id per lb, apples Id per lb.
