AQUATICS.
CHRISTCHURCH REGATTA CLUB. The Chrifltchurch Regatta Club met Inst night, Mr P. D. Kestevon presiding. An application for a hydroplane raco at the regatta from owners of epecd was declined on tho ground that funds would not permit of eiich a race. In response to a request from tho Sumner Club to rearrange tho programme the committee- decided that it could not at this late stage do so. Messrs W. Woods, C. G. Farrow, end W. C. Cleary were appointed a course committee, with power to act.
