Referring to tho King's inspection of tho New Zealand, the "Pall Mall Gazette" says:—"What an occasion for ,tho Monarch, captain, midshipmen, bluojackets and marines to bo on board a freewill offering of the most distant Dominion, a sign and symbol of . a tether strongor than death binding tho distant lands of the British Commonwealth. The New Zealand goes to greet South Africans, Australians and Canadians in the name of their New Zealand brethren."
