DUNEDIN, 'February 5. At a meeting of tho Council of the New Zealand Bowling Association, tho secretary of tho Christchurch Centre wrote, asking tor permission to suspend Rule 12, Clauso 3, relating to unstamped bowls, for the Christchurch Easter Tournament, the bowls to no subject to challenge. This was to meet the convenience of players who had not had an opportunity of having their bowls tested. It was resolved to comply with the request, and to inform iho Christchurch Centre that for. any subsequent tournament bowls must be tested accoiding to the rules of the Association.
