WELLINGTON, February 5. A fatal accident occurred at i-1 \V Mills and Co. s machinery store in Victoria street this morning, the victim being a married man named James Hauratry, an employee of die firm for over twenty years. At the inquest on the body o: Cecil Robert Randall, who died from hemorrhage of the brain on Tuesday morning, the evidence showed that deceased and a cousin named Duncan McGillvray, aged fourteen years were playing on Sunday. McGillvray threw a "tone at a fowl, and bit deceased by mistake. Deceased became ill the next morning, and when a doctor called in was unconscious. An operation was performed as soon as possible, but the lad never regained consciousness. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
