WHEAT IMPROVEMENT.
Mr A. Richardson read a paper on wheat improvement. Ho said that tho time was not far distant when wheat would bo sold on a grade liko butter, fruit and other produce. The production of drought-resisting varieties was a problem of peculiar importance, improved methods of grain culture bad placed tho wheat industry of the Commonwealth in a very securo position.
