FIRES.
(FEE3S ASSOCIATION" TEI.EGHASI-) AUCKLAND, January 13. A eevn-roomed house at Birkdalo, owned and occupied by Alfred J. Finch, was cle&t; oyed by tire last night, with its contents. The occupants escaped in their niyhtclothes through the upstairs windows. The house was insured for £450 in-the London and Lancashire office, and the furniture was partly covered in the same office.
