THE ADAPTABILITY OF ST. PAUL.

Speaking in St. Mary's Church in commendation of a bazaar that is to be held to provide tho priefcts of St. Mary's Church, Dean Regnault expressed a hope that his s hearers, would support _ the bazaar, because, he said, it was necessary in so largo a parish that they should hare the best facilities for getting about their duties to thenflock. "It has been said to me," he continued "that St. Paul did not have a motor-car, and therefore the clergy should not expect to havo motor-cars. Well, there were no railways, or motorcars, or aeroplanes in Paul's time, but if there had been you may be quite sure that he would have gladly utilised them all to enable him to save more souls, and get more freely around. And ho would have adapted himself to modern conditions and facilities, and utilised tho best means of reaching the people. Therefore, if St. Paul lived to-day, ho x/ould haya become the editor of a newspaper."
