HON. C. E. FRAZER'S VISIT.

WELLINGTON, January 2. Tho Hon. C. E. Fraser, PostmasterGeneral of tho Commonwealth, who arrived by the Aorangi from Sydney toAiy on a brief visit to New Zealand, is accompanied by his wife. Mr Morris exchanged comnlimentary messages with Mr Frazer "by wireless yesterday. In acoordanco with tho Übual custom, Mr Frazer will be given a fjee piss over the railways of thj Dominion, and postal and telegraphic facilities will also bo placed at his disposal.

Tho Hon. R. Heaton Rhodes, Post-master-General, who left Christ-church for "Wellington last evening, trill meet Mr Frazor and will discuss postal and telegraphic questions with him before tho latter leaves for Auckland and Rotorua. After visiting these places Mr Fraser will como to tho South Island, and will pass through Christchurch on his way to Duncdin and the Southern Lakes. He will leave tho Bluff, to return to .Australia, at the end of this month.
