To-day tho Hon. 11. Heaton Rhodes, will visit tho St. Helens Hospital at 10 -a.m.; in company with Miss McLean. Assistant-In-spector of Hospitals. At 11 o'clock tho Minister will visit tho instituttonH controlled by the North Canterbury Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, accompanied by tho chairman, Mr F. Horrcll.

Tho Hon A. L. Herdraan and the Hon. H. D. Bell, who left Wellington for Qucenstown on Friday, broke their journey at Paimerston. The Ministers proceeded to the residence of Mr A. D. Bell at Shag Valley, where they will spend a few days.
