In the North Canterbury Association's matches Swannanoa defeated Cust by 79 runs. Swannauo.a ni.-ido 102 (Hyde 30, J. Bennett 21. H. Bennett 17, Paterson 30) nnd 102 again (H. Bennett 49, Fidler 10). Cust compiled 27 and 98 (Cowan 2o not out, Gingavon 21, Walker 10). In bowling H , . Bennett, Pidler and V. Verrall for Swannanoa, and Tipping, Early, Murray and Searell for Cust were tho most successful. SvcTonliam Club fourth tirade v.
