Before the Marconi Committee, Sir Gcorgo Reid, completing his evidence, promised to obtain information whether the Australian system had been tested , over two thousand miles. Sir Henry Norman, M.P., opposed tho ratification of tho agreement, as it was contrary to the public interest preluding some thing of the nature of a j monopoly. Moreover, it. was not necessary in order to ensure a chain of Imperial wireless stations.
