Colonel Soely, replying to Mr W. Clonal, said he was not aware- whether every conscript in Australia or New Zealand must obtain military passports on moving from one district to another. WELSH DISESTABLISHMENT. A REVOLT COLLAPSES. (Received December 20th, 12.3.5 a.m.) LONDON. December 19. In tho House of Commons, tho amendment to tho Welsh Disestablishment Bill conceding Queen Anne's bounty was carried. Tho Welsh Radicals' revolt collapsed. They had decided, they said, to support the Bill because it securetl religious equality. Mr Bonar Law twitted them on their docility. Their blazo of anger when a few thousands was withdrawn from their grasp showed tliat they were petty traders. It was jealousy of a rival which animated the advocates of this meanest, of Bills. Mr Llewellyn Williams alono denounced tho Government's surrendering to a nandful of pious Nonconformists and broadminded Liberal Churchmen. Mr Asquith said he hoped that, the Homo Kule, Disestablishment, and Franchise Bills would bo completed early in February.
