Owing to tho number of Ineliaus and natives killed on the Colonial Sugar Refining Company's tramlines, tho Government introduced a Bill providing for better supervision of the traffic, which was carried. The Company now declares that tho Bill is stopping development, but tho Government, in reply, says it is not going to be intimidated. As a protest against tho Government's action, four elected members left tho Chamber.
