TRAWVAY BOARD.

A meeting of the . Christchurch Tramway Board was held yesterday. Present—Messrs G. T. Booth vchairman), J. A. Flesher, D. Sykes, C>. A. Staples, A. W. Beaven, H. Pearce, C M. Gray, Hon. Jno. Barr, and Dr. H. T. J. ihackor.

The question of seaside excursion tickets was referred to the Fares Committee.

The Works and Traffic Committee reported that it had purchased the property on Moorhouse avenue adjoining the Board's car shed, for the sum of £700. It had received a request from the Heathcote County Council to lower the footpath on the Cashmert road from Dyer's Pass road onwards. Tho committee replied that it cOuld not agree to the County Council's request.
