WEEKS, LTD. v. TAI TAPU. A cricket team from Weeks, Ltd., Christchurch, tried conclusions with tho Tai Tapu players on Saturday* last. Tho scores were as Weeks 31, Tai Tapu 35. Tai Tapu continued their second innings, aud declared with S3 for six wickets, but timo did not permit of tho visitors playing a second, so tho match was decided on the first innings. For Tai Tanu (Barnctt 8, Jones 7, Wails 7), aud for Weeks, Ltd. (Biddlo 9, Irving 8) wero tho most successiut batsmen. Bowling honours wont to liaughey seven for 9,' and S. Peryman two for 3 for Tai Tapu, and for Weeks, Power six for 13, and Irving throe for 18. Tho Tai Tapu ladies provided afternoon tea.

ELLESMERE ASSOCIATION

Playing in the Ellesmoro Cricket Association, Duiisaiylel defeated Lincoln College by 14 runs. Tho following aro tho scores:—Dunsandel 133 (T. Jamicson 40, G. Norman 40, J. Mc Laughlin 12, R. Stephens 11); Lincoln Collego 119 (Duncan 29, Jackson 28, Thomson 10). E. Norman and T. Jamicson for Dunsandel, and Jackson, Ormond, Chrystall and Duncan for Collego divided tho bowling honours. Tho Dunsaiu'l team wore black armbands out of r ..spect to the lato Mr Jamcß Henderson, who was ono of tho viccpresidonts of tho Club.
