Tho Metropolitan Mooting of the Canterbury Jockey Club will bo brought to a conclusion at Riccarton to-morrow, when tho sport provided should bo well above tho average. The Stead Memorial Gold Cup, a weight-for-age mile and a quarter race, will come up for decision, and judging by present appearances, it will provide just as interesting a contest as has been the case in former years. A meeting between BobiikofT, Los Angelos and Undecided and the younger horses Bon Ton, Bon R<eve. Haskayno and Brown Owl should bo exceptionally interesting. Tho Electric Plate always furnishes a good contest, and with sucli good ones as Equitas, Gipsy Belle, Blue Lake, Ventura, Tatterley, and "Warstep, Saturday's contest should bo no exception to the rule.
