SUMNER CLUB.

The Sumner Club opened its season on Saturday with a scratch match between sides chosen by Messrs Lawson and Edmonds, which resulted in a win for the former's team by. 66 runs. Afternoon tea was dispensed by Mrs E. Brown, assisted by the Misses Wood. During the afternoon the Sumner Baud contributed several selections.
