Tho plant '?* 1 is of a modern type, and in installing tC*"§ the machinery the company has taken v .U| .advantage, of all tho latest iinprmv- , '£% nients in this class of machinery, so is ,_• "| to bring the works thoroughly up-to- i^l date. An excellent example of '"^H local industry is found in the 14001b *'?'& churns which were manufactured by (M Tbpliss Bros., of Christchurch, who also ■-'S manufactured tho smaller classes of yf-s machinery which aie essentia] to a ''""J butter-manufacturing establishment. ;>| Tho cost of the building was £12,000.
