SUMNER ROWING CLUB.
Tho Sumner Rowing- Club he.d its annual general meeting on Friday evening, 'lhe cJub captain (Mr Hastings Andrews) presided over a fair attendance of members. Mho balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £3 15s and an -excess of assets over liabilities of £123 53 7d. Iho annual report stated that tho club v.-as represented at all the principal Tegtiti<i3 during tho season, and won a fair proportion of prize money. Messrs vy. do Thier and C. Champ had been particularly successful, accounting for six out of tho ei?ht firsts received. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following officers wero elected for the ensuing season-. Adkins," C. Champ, S. Rowe, B. Howard, H. A. McLachlan, end H. Andrews; delegates to Canterbury Rowing Association, the Captain and Mr 11. A. McLachlan, hon. auditors. Messrs D. Marquet and G. Rowe.
