Because three workers were imprisoned on a charge of killing two others during the winter strike at Salem, tho Industria] Workers of the World, without permission, paraded Lawrence, Massachusetts. Tho police interfered, and a fight with knives and clubs ensued. Two of the constables wore stabbed. Throe of tho Workers were arrested, but the mob frood tho leader.
