NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The St. John Ambulance Association nnnounces that classes -of instruction for ladies are being formed for first aid on Thursday afternoons and Friday evenings, and for home nursing on Friday evenings. The Banks' Peninsula A. and P. Association's annual show will be held at Little River on November 19th, and entries close on November 9th.
The annual general meeting of the Christ's College Old Boys' Association will be held on tho 10th inst. at 8 p.m.
In the Salvation Army Citadel this evening Commissioner Richards will give a recital entitled "South African Stories."
