MRS M. A. HARRISON.
The late Mrs Mary Ann Harrison, whose death is announced, came to New Zcala'nd with her husband in tho ship Edinburgh Castle, about forty years ago, landing in Auckland. After a few months' residence in Auckland, Mr and Mrs Harrison settled in Canterbury, taking a farm near Rangiora, where they lived for many years. After her husband's death at Rangiora about twenty-five years ago, Mrs Harrison remained at Rangiora for some years, and then came to Lyttelton, where she resided until two years ago. At the time of her death she was living with her daughter in Christchurch. The deceased lady leaves a family of four daughters and two sons, and seventeen grandchildren^
In last Wednesdays issue we stated that the late Mr John Wells was a noted breeder of Clydesdale horses, whereas it is his eon, Mr John Wells, junr., who is the breeder. The error has led to some confusion, and we hasten to correct it.
