SYDNEY, September SO. Mr Griffith,- Minister of Public Works., referring to railway extension, eaid that ho was going to bo as extravagant as tho Treasurer would allow him. Tho next loan, and perhaps two or three loans, would not bo raised iv Australia, as he did not desire to deplete the local money market. As long as tho railways paid interest and working expenses, it did not matter how much mousy was raised.
