At an extraordinary meeting o£ the Broken Hill Proprietary Company, it was decided to increase the capital by -the creation of 640,000.new 8e shares. The increase was mode in view of tho starting o£ the company's iron and steel works. DEEDGING RETURNS. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELECEAM.) DUNEDIN, September 29. ROSS FLAT MINE. {special to '"the press.") GREYMOUTH, September 29. A trial run of the pumps at the Ross Flat mine was mode yesterday, when everything worked satisfactorily. The work of unwatering the mine will Dβ commenced to-morrow.
