STRIKERS SHOT BY TROOPS. (Received September 29th, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, September 28. At Augusta, Georgia, after serious rioting in which two men had been killed, martini law was proclaimed. A strike led to tho disorders, including attacks on tho street railway cars. Soldiers established a dead lino, forbidding the strikers to cross it, iv consequonco of a report that tho electric power works were in danger of boing dynamited. A number of strikers crossed tho lino and tho soldiers riddled thorn with bullets. Great excitement prevails.
