LAKE COLERIDGE STRIKE
A CONFERENCE OF THE PARTIES,
A conference was held on Wednesday night between the contractor (Mr MoWilliams) and the representatives of the men on strike at the Lake Coleridge hydro-electrical works, but no settlement was arrived at.
A statement of the position of affairs at Lake Coleridge has been forwarded by the secretary of tho General Labourers' Union to the executive of the New Zealand Federation of Labour, which met in Wellington.
