Mr Hughes has received a letter from Heir Hugo Dahins, of Beriin, stating that slaughtered bullocks placed in a freezing chamber at Berlin were found ten months afterwards to comply with the strict German regulations regarding frozen merit. He urges that Australia should push trade in moat with Germany, and advises that the method of dressing should be altered in accordance with European requirements. The Commonwealth should sedv an international conference, with a-view .to-obtaining uniformity of regulations. This would mean that shipments could bo directed to whatever European market at the time being offered tho bc.<=t returns.
