A sensation wns caused in Lower Queen street shortly after five o'clock this evening by a horse boiting from Queen titreet wharf and seriously injuring -ilrsi Wh.tcombo, agod Gl years, and sina.shinii a platc-glaes window valued at about £20. Picking itoelf up, it ran along tiio wharf, jumped the fence between the o!U and new wha.f, and now thoroughly maddened, da:h.id towards Quetn street. Just outside Mr John Turner's hosiery shop, at tiie corner of Queen .md Quay streets, Mrs Whftenmifo md her grandson, Master Henry Cowie, aged eleven (* son (if tho Rev. Arthur Cowie), were standing.
