CASUALTIES.
. * . An inquest was held at the Morgue on Saturday, before Mr H. VV. Bishop, District Coroner, touching the death of a child four months old, named Margaret I Elizabeth Smith, who died on Friday ' afternoon at Sydenham. The motbcY of the child _aye evidence that it had been in apparently good health in the morning. but at about 3.30 she noticed it turn white, and then purple, and shortly afterwards it grew quit© rigid. Dr. C .L Ned will, who mado a. post mortem examination of the body, said that death was due to cardiac syncope, and a verdict to that effect) was returned. The body of an elderly man namod William Wilson, was found near Dunsandel yesterday. The man had been dead for from a month to six weeks. An inquest will be held at Dunsandel to-day, by the District Coroner, Mr H. W. Bfshop.
