WELLINGTON, August 11

Tho doctrine of destruction alleged to have been preached by an' American lecturer in Waihi was mentioned in the House of Representatives on Thursday. Tho Primo Minister (the Hon. W. F. Massey) announced that he had referred tho matter to the Crown law. officers for a report as to whether the law met tho caso. This afternoon Mr Massey stated that the law officers had advised him that if the facts had been correctly represented! there was an offence against the law. The police havo therefore been given instructions to investigate tho caso and institute proceedings against tho lecturer.
