HINEMOA CLUB

Tho annual danco of the Hinemoa Ladies' Hockey Club in the Volunteer Drill Hall, Kaiapoi. on Friday evening was attended by about SO ladies and gsntlemon, and proved to be the premier ball cf the season. Much taste had been shown in the decorations and furnishings. Mr Knight's band supplied tho music. During the evening Miss Myrtle Pearce who has attained exemplary proficiency in scoring hockey goals, was presented by the chi'i with "a handsome gold watch. Miss Day, secretary of tho Canterbury Association, in making the presentation, referred in high praise to Miss Pearce's prowess at the game.
