Tuesday Evening. The wet weather that has again set in I.as put a complete cheek upon business in the grain and produce markets. The only move that cau lie noted is in potatoes, which have advanced in price. Owing to the -water-logged condition of tho paddocks deliveries from the pit will be a difficult-matter, and will' prevent supplies from coming forward. For ordinary samples the price ia now £4 os per ton, and in cases where tho necessary certificate of freedom from blight can be given to enable shipment to be made to Australia, up to £4 15s at country stations has been paid. The undermentioned are the prices paid to farmers at country stations, free of commission, except where otherwise stated:— '■

Wheat (nominal).—as 5d to 3s 6d; Pearl, 3s Cd; fowl wheat, 3s to 3s 3d, at country stations.

Barley (nominal). —Prime malting, 4s 4d to 4s 6d; extra prime to 4s od, at country stations.

Oats (nominal). —Gartons, Is 9d to Is lOd, at country stations. Cocksfoot. —Peninsula seed, 3d to 4.idr

Flour. — US 10s per ton, 1001b bags £8 15s, 501b bags £9, 251b bags £9 ss. Bran.—£4 15s (local), £4 10s, f.0.b., per ton.

Pollard. —£0 per ton. Oatmeal. —£14 per ton. New Oatsheaf Chaff.- £2 10s to £2 15s, at country stations. Potatoes. —Up-to-Dates and Derwents £4 os, and guaranteed free from blight, up to £4 15s at country stations. r Onions —JDU to £6 10s for immediate delivery, at country stations. Peas. —Partridge, 2s ( Jd to 3s; Prussian Blues, 5s to os 6d; White Ivories, 4s, at country stations. Beans. —3s, at country stations.
