LONDON, July 16. Ten thousand people at Hyde Park burnt copies of the Insurance Act.

Two shipyards at Sunderland are idle owing to tho new time rules in connection with tho Act. Many men in other yards have also struck.

Tho country generally has received the Act with apathetic acquiescence.

A CONSEQUENCE uF THE ACT

Nearly three thousand men, mostly old casual .labourers at tho Grimsby fish market, havo been dismissed with tho advent of the Insurance Act.
