(FUESS ASSOCIATION TELEGnAM.) WELLINGTON, July 15. • The following is a copy of the High Commissioner's cable, dated London, July 13th. (Note: Quotations, unless otherwise specified, are average market prices, on spot) :—

Mutton—The market is steady, with a very good demand. Canterbury, 3|d to 4£d; North Island, 3gd to 4Jdaccording to weight; ewes, 3_d. Lamb—-There" is a good demand for all lamb. Deliveries are light at tho market, on account of the strike, but the discharge is improving. Quotations show a weaker tendency. Canterbury heavy-weights, s_d; light-weights, 6Jd (scarce); other than Canterbury, Jd and id less than these.

Beef—The market is quiet, but firm. New Zealand hinds, 4sd; New Zealand fores, 3jd.

Cheese—The market is declining, on account of the heavy home supplies, and .business is dull. Now Zealand white 6<3s, coloured 675.

Butter—The market is quiet, but rather .steadier, and stocks of New Zealand are pretty well cleared. Choicest New Zealand butter, 113s; Australian, 106s; Siberian, 103s: Danish, 1225.

Hcnip—The market is firm, with an improved demand. On spot, New Zealand good fair grade, £22 10s; New Zealand fair grade, £21 ss; .forward shipment New Zealand good fair grade, £22 10s: New Zealand fair grade £21 10s; stock, 208 tons. The market tor Manila is active at advanced prices. On spot, fair current Manila, £23; forward shipment, £23 10s. The output from Manila for the week was 24,000 hales.

Cocksfoot —The market is very quiet, and no attention is given to New Zealand seed. Prices, per cwt, 64s to 70s. buyers wiil not buy until the results of the Continental and American crops are known. Wooi—Tho market remains firm.
