VPBES9 ASSOCIATION TELECEAMB.. AUCKLAND, July 13. A man named Clarence Lambert Woodward, 31 years of age, was found dead in bed at his parents' residence. He had been complaining of illuess for some time, but the cause of death is unknown. WELLINGTON, July 13. A fatal accident occurred at -Messrs Kirkcaldie and Stains's premises this morning, Saul Garshook, a tailor's presser, being crushed in a, lift-well. Garshook was a married man. The 1 :© were no eye-witnesses of the accident, but it appeared tliat deceased operated tho lift himself without waiting for tho storeman, as ho usually did. Tho storeman found the lift jambed, and on investigating, found that it was held at the third storey by deceased's body, which was badly crushed. Garshook worked on the third storey, and had apparently thrown off his bicycle there, and then returned to the lift to prevent it from going further. WELLINGTON,'JuIy 14. Ada Love, wife of Walter Love, was found dead at her residence, Whittaker street," this morning. She declined to accompany her husband to a picture show last evening, saying she was unwell. When ho returned at 10 p.m. she was lying on the bedroom floor, and asked to be left alone. Her husband placed a pillow tinder her head, covered her up, and went to bed. "When he awoke this morning she tvas dead. DUNEDIN, July 14. Margaret Lonio, 78 years of age, died in tho Hospital this morning, as tho result of an accident at Port Chalmers on Tuesday uight. She lived with her son, and when going out of the house missed tho path and fell ten feet down a bank on to the railway line, sustaining a broken log.
