About 2500 sheep were offered at tho fortnightly salo.. yesterday, and prices
both for -stores aud fats showed an im " provetnent. Fat lambs, medium lineft sold from 1.3s 8d to 16s Id, prime lots from 17s Id to 22s 6d. Fat ewes brought from 12s to 16s, and wethers12s 9d to 20* 6d. Stores—Two, four, six and eisht-tooth ewes 21s 6d, threoquarterbred two-tooth ewes 21s 7*d, tooth ewes las 9d, *41 f.m. ewes 8a *»• 12s and 13s 9d, six and eight-tooth ewes 16s, three-quarterbred lambs ws Id. m?x lambs lt_ 9d and 14s su, ewe lambs los Id, 15s 2d and 16s, fo . ur " tooth wethers 14s 2d. Cattle—Springing heifer £7, fat cow £8. pigs—A'ieancrs 13s.
